Year Two Assembly Information, 2022

 Dear parents, 

I am sure the children have been very excited and you have heard all about our upcoming assembly. Please find below some information about our assembly that is taking place on Thursday 15th of September from 2:30pm.

If your child is not going to be here on this day, can you please email us as soon as possible. 

Please note we had to change the time due to school photos taking place in the hall on Friday the 9th of September. 

Your child will be sent home with a hard copy of their reading part during the week. It would be greatly appreciated, if you could practise this with your child and reinforce them speaking clearly and with expression. 

I have attached a link if your child would like to practise our assembly song at home.

Week 4 Information

  Good afternoon  parents, Wow! What an absolutely busy yet fun first full week we have had in the Year Two team since swimming lessons have finished and we are into full days of learning.  Can you believe it is already week 4? I am so proud of how much focus and persistence with a positive attitude our Year Two team are showing when learning new things. In just a few weeks we are already growing our confidence to problem solve and continuing to build our independence to complete our work, try out new things and even suggest and share our own ideas and other ways we can show what we know and have learnt.    Thank you to all who have made the time to read through the parent information slides posted last week and read through the other information in the previous posts. Welcome to Term 4, 2022

 Dear parents, Welcome to the final term of Year Two. I hope you had a lovely holidays and enjoyed some of that beautiful spring weather 🌸  I was very lucky to jet off to Singapore for the Grand Prix and have my pre-baby moon by staying in an adults only hotel (while I can😉) and celebrate a very dear friends wedding on Saturday.  A BIG OLC welcome to Leni Lewis who will be joining the 2W family this term. Please make the Lewis family feel welcome :)  Just a few notes... Homework On Monday we will be sending home the Year Two fluency grid with this fortnights focus sounds and tricky words.
