Week Three...YIPPEE

Good evening parents,  

I hope you have had a lovely start to your week and have had a moment to look at your child’s SeeSaw journal. We have been so excited to share our learning with you and we are looking forward to showing you what we have been focusing on in Maths since the beginning of the term. If you need your family QR code reprinted, please let me know and I can send it home with your child. Just a few messages for this week... 

 

Assembly 

We are VERY excited to show you our assembly this Friday starting at 2.10pm all around the wonderful Friendology program. If you could please pack your child’s costume in their bag ready for Friday, that would be wonderful, as we will be aiming to get ready straight after lunch. We cannot wait to see some of the stars of the stage come out and shine! 

 

Mission Markets Stall 

Next Friday 13th of August, the children will be participating in our annual feast day - The assumption of Mary. The Year 2 children are running an air popped popcorn stall and would greatly appreciate if you could donate 1x bag of popping corn. This year, OLC is aiming to be more sustainable and show the children where their generous donations are going to, rather than focusing on the items themselves.

Welcome to Term 4, 2022

 Dear parents, Welcome to the final term of Year Two. I hope you had a lovely holidays and enjoyed some of that beautiful spring weather 🌸  I was very lucky to jet off to Singapore for the Grand Prix and have my pre-baby moon by staying in an adults only hotel (while I can😉) and celebrate a very dear friends wedding on Saturday.  A BIG OLC welcome to Leni Lewis who will be joining the 2W family this term. Please make the Lewis family feel welcome :)  Just a few notes... Homework On Monday we will be sending home the Year Two fluency grid with this fortnights focus sounds and tricky words.  Good afternoon parents, I hope you all had a lovely weekend and took some time to rest up and relax in the glorious sunshine. I was lucky enough to shoot up to Perth to catch up with some friends and celebrated a belated Father's day with my Dad. We are on the homestretch now 🎉🥳 Just a few notices for the week ahead... SCIENCE ORAL PRESENTATIONS Thank you to all who brought in their mixture poster yesterday. Your child is more than welcome to bring in their mixture if they would like to share it with the class. SEESAW We are loving sharing our hard work with you all via the Seesaw app and absolutely love when we can see that our Mums and Dads have left a comment on our work.
