Week Three - Yippee!

Good morning parents,  I hope you have had a lovely start to the week and have had some time to enjoy the last (hopefully) of the rain! I cannot believe we are into week three, which means there is only another six weeks with your beautiful children 😭😢😭😢 Merit Award Winner 🌟⭐✨ Congratulations to our Week Two Merit Award winner Campbell! You are a Year Two Super Star! Design Technology unit - Creating a bird feeder! We need your boxes! Around the school, we have noticed a lot of birds trying to make nests in the beams around our verandahs so we will be designing a bird house as a part of our Design and Technology unit. We will be beginning to plan the logistics of the design next week, but in week 5 we would love to start constructing our design. If you have any boxes - NO BIGGER THAN A 2 LITRE MILK BOTTLE/CARTON we would love for you to bring them in! Start collecting those boxes! Dear Parents,  I hope you had a lovely start to the term and got to enjoy some of the sunshine over the weekend!  Merit Award Winner  Congratulations to Maxwell who was the week 1 Merit Award winner. Maxwell, you are a Year Two super star! Homework Homework is due this Friday. If your child is not going to be here Friday, please send in their homework folder on Thursday so we are able to glue in the next fortnights homework. SeeSaw You would have seen that last week we posted two amazing pieces of work. We posted an Art sample of our beautiful proteas and a picture of our InitiaLit Progress Monitoring Test. If your child does require some review with their sound acquisition, we would recommend reviewing the spelling lists from the homework book as well as the fluency mazes. Welcome to week one!

  Dear Parents,      Welcome back to Term Four! I hope you had a very relaxing holidays and ready to get back into the final nine weeks of Year Two!  I was lucky enough to head up to the Grand Final and although we went for the Bulldogs, it was a cracking game! I also headed to Kalbarri for three nights and although it wasn’t the perfect  28 degrees that I wanted, it was great to escape Dunsborough and see some  more of this beautiful state we live in!
