Good morning parents,  I hope you have had a lovely start to your week and didn't get caught up in the Perth traffic or lock down down here! I was one of the unfortunate ones up in Perth on the 18th visiting my new nephew so you would have seen me rocking the mask that the wonderful Mr McSevich made me!  Just a few reminders for the remainder of this week... Assembly Just a reminder that our assembly is this Friday (tomorrow) commencing at 2.15pm. If your child would like to bring along a bright coloured shirt in their bag to wear for our assembly, they are more than welcome to, otherwise, their faction shirt will be fine. If your child has a reading, we would love it if you could practise it with them tonight, one more time. We are looking forward to sharing our prayer assembly with you! Good afternoon parents, We had a great first week of Term 2 and have alrea dy learnt so much. It was lovely to hear of the many adventures you all seemed to get up to on the holidays.  I hope you all have a wonderful long weekend and get to spend some time in the sunshine.  Just a few reminders for Week 2... Friendology - URStrong 🧸 This is the wonderful friendship and social emotional program that we will be starting this term to support the children in helping them make better friends and strengthen and foster healthy relationships. Within the program the children may be starting to use the language of UR Strong: Friendology including: 'Friendship fire', 'Talk it out', 'Quick comebacks' and the 'Friend-o-cycle'. We will be providing some information to parents on the blog as we complete the lessons of the program. Welcome to Term 2! I hope you all had a lovely holidays relaxing and taking in that last bit of Autumn sunshine. I was lucky enough to become an Aunty this holidays for the second time to my new nephew Davey, celebrate the Dockers winning two in a row and surprising my Mum for her 60th with a long table lunch with a private chef with 22 of her closest friends and family. A wonderful holidays all round! I am looking forward to a jam packed 11 week term with your children.
