Dear parents,  I hope you all had a lovely weekend and are settling back into school and routine life! Just a few messages for this week... Homework On Monday we will be sending home the Year Two fluency grid with this fortnights focus sounds and tricky words. Have a look at our blog post titled 'Week 4 Information' which shows you how you can use this at home to increase your child's reading fluency. We have also included all of the spelling lists for your information on the back of the fluency grid. The pink list 💓 is the target for Year Two from our InitiaLit program. Dear Parents,  Welcome back to Week One. I hope you had a lovely holiday and managed to get some sun (or stay inside with all this rain!).  I was lucky enough to escape to Melbourne for the middle weekend and saw the mighty Dockers beat St. Kilda. I hope you all managed to have some rest and relaxation over the last two weeks. We are getting ready for a massive Term Three ahead and cannot wait to get into all the fun learning that will be happening over the next few weeks! Dance with Mrs. Haines This semester, our class will be participating in dance every Friday. As this is already a sports day for us, there is no uniform change. I am so excited to see the movers and groovers in our class for the end of year concert.  Assembly Please put in your calendars Friday 9th of September (Week 8) to keep free as this will be our performance assembly.
