Welcome to Week Four!

Dear Parents,  I hope you all had a lovely weekend and you enjoyed this glorious weather we had! It's been a wonderful first couple of weeks getting into the groove of Year Two and I have loved every minute of it! The children have come to school ready to learn each day and I feel so lucky to have such a beautiful little class that really feel like a little family πŸ‘©‍πŸ‘§‍πŸ‘¦πŸ˜ There has been some great learning happening and the children have loved getting into our Math and English rotations each morning. Here are a few snaps from our Maths session on Place Value last week... A few messages for the week ahead: Bush Fire Drill πŸ”₯πŸš’ Make sure that your emergency contact details are up to date with the office as we will be having a drill on Wednesday. Please make sure that you come to class to collect your child, I will make a note if your child is going home with another family. Parent Information Night 2021

 Hi everyone,  Welcome to the 2021 parent information night for Year Two. Week One so much fun!

We have had a wonderful start to our first week in Year Two and it has been so nice to see so many familiar (and some new) faces in the class. Both Mrs. Peacock and myself feel so lucky we get to be a part of such a beautiful little class this year and I can only imagine how tired some of your children must be because I have been exhausted! I know it's been a little different this year with adults not being allowed in the classrooms due to COVID restrictions so here are a few snaps of some of our learning from this week... We loved getting back into the routine of our InitiaLit sessions and Georgia even remembered what a contraction was from last year...what a clever cookie!  Our mental Math warm ups have been a great warm up for our brains after the holidays.
